Position Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for maintaining the maintenance of a heavy equipment fleet for the safe and efficient receipt and transfer of materials. Direct the maintenance workforce, as assigned on a project basis.
? As assigned on a project basis, direct the maintenance crew through clear directions and goals.
? Read, interpret, maintain crane documentation and provide guidance from blue prints, technical manuals and operational manuals.
? Diagnose problems and make repairs to heavy equipment
? Perform repairs and maintenance on multiple types of heavy equipment, as directed by Foreman, Supervisor, or Manager, while following Kinder Morgan Inc. and customer policies, procedures, safety rules, and federal and state laws.
? Operate a variety of tools/equipment such as cutting torch, welder, forklift, hand tools, power tools (impact wrench, drills, etc) and electric meters.
? Read and understand parts books and schematic drawings to determine parts needed and work procedures.
? Dismantle and repair heavy equipment including mobile cranes.
? Move machinery and equipment as needed to check out and repair as needed.
? Repair and lubricate machines, equipment and heavy equipment.
Position Requirements
? High School Diploma or equivalent.
? Five years of demonstrated work experience in the field of diesel engine maintenance and/or equipment repair.
? Certification in diesel repair and/or welding is a plus.
? Valid Drivers License or ability to obtain is required.
? Must be familiar with Komatsu, Leibherr, Sennebogen, CAT, and Manitowoc
? Must be conversant in PC software applications (MS Products).
COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
? A minimum of 10 years of documented work experience operating/maintaining cranes.
? Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communications to a diverse workforce.
? Must demonstrate a familiarity of the products, modes of transport, and methods of handling dry bulk materials.
? Ability to accept direction and work effectively and cooperatively with other people.
? Successful completion of background check and drug screen upon job offer.
? Ability to obtain and maintain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) as issued by TSA (Transportation Security Administration).
WORKING CONDITIONS:
? Job location is in Trinity Alabama.
? Requires work in all types of weather conditions.
? Must be available to work all shifts and weekends.
? Availability and periodic response to emergency situations on a 24/7 basis.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
