Beyond Gravity is looking for Manufacturing Engineering support for a temporary summer position.
This role will act as Manufacturing Engineering support, working with the responsible engineer on daily tasks.
This is a great opportunity to gain first-hand experience working in an AS9100 compliant Space Manufacturing Facility, working on space flight hardware, and delivering value to both the customer and Beyond Gravity.
Main Tasks:
o Deliver continuous improvement activitieso Update Manufacturing Work Instructionso Perform Root Cause Analysiso Draft Technical Documentationo Among other Manufacturing Engineering related tasksRequirements/Skill Set:
o Current college student enrolled in an engineering programo Project planningo Interpersonal skillso Understanding of the complexities and difficulties associated with the integration of machine toolso Good awareness of manufacturing and inspection processes and technologieso Industrial engineering skillso Six Sigmao Continuous improvemento Willingness to Learn and a drive to succeedBeyond Gravity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
